According to multiple reports Thursday evening, second-generation star Ray Parks, Jr. is due to play in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League under the Mandaluyong El Tigre banner.
This ends all speculations regarding Parks, Jr.’s next destination following a solid campaign with San Miguel Alab Pilipinas in the ASEAN Basketball League, where their run ended with a championship.
Joining the two-time ABL Local Most Valuable Player going to Mandaluyong would be his Alab teammates in Lawrence Domingo, JR Alabanza, and Oping Sumalinog.
Mentoring the El Tigre is Alab assistant coach Mac Cuan.
Now, it’s only a matter of time when will the former National University ace declare himself eligible for the 2018 PBA Rookie Draft.
