Remy Martin was one of four Jayhawks to score in double-figures, powering Kansas to an 88-62 win over Tarleton State, Saturday morning (Manila time) at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kansas.
In his second game with Kansas, Martin was a game-high plus-28, tallying 14 points, five rebounds, and three assists.
KU led by as many as 13 in the first half, which came at the 9:03 mark of the half as a basket by Ochai Agbaji capped off a 9-0 run that put the Jayhawks up 25-12.
The second half was all Jayhawks, outscoring the Texans, 49-31.
Agbaji paced Kansas with 25 points and six rebounds while Christian Braun added 15 points.
Shamir Bogues and Montre Gipson led the Texans with 20 and 19 points respectively.
Kansas returns to action on Friday, hosting Stony Brook.
