In his final year with San Miguel Alab Pilipinas, Bobby Ray Parks Jr. made sure to make history.

The second generation cager was named as the 2018-19 ABL Local Most Valuable Player, becoming the first-ever player to earn the distinction for three straight years.

Parks, Jr. led the Philippine-based club team to the second seed, but his squad fell to Hong Kong Eastern in the best-of-three quarterfinals, 0-2.

The second overall pick in the 2018 PBA Rookie Draft averaged 16.6 points on 52-percent shooting, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.
