Gaiser goes down with left knee injury


The University of the Philippines Lady Maroons just can’t catch a break.

Another injury has hit the Lady Maroons, as libero Pia Gaiser suffered a left knee injury in the first set of their clash with National University Lady Bulldogs at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Gaiser was chasing a to cover the ball when her sudden change of direction sent her crumbling.

“Parang may kumalas,” she was overheard saying in UP’s dugout.

As of press time, Gaiser is still under evaluation by team doctors and renowned knee specialist Dr. Raul Canlas.
