Phenom-Basilan subs Dagangon for Banal for Chooks 3×3 Grand Finals

Before the clock struck midnight on Thursday, Phenom-Basilan CTC Construction made a last-minute change to its roster.

The Steel replaced Gab Dagangon with Gab Banal in their lineup for the Grand Finals of the 2019 Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3×3 Magiting Cup presented by Coca-Cola that will be held today at the SM Megamall Events Center.

Though he played just one leg this conference for Basilan, Banal has been part of the team in numerous Challenger competitions — namely the Haining, Manila, and Sukhbaatar Challengers.

Banal will join Franky Johnson, Troy Rike, and Aris Dionisio in the final leg that has PHP 1,000,000 and a ticket to the Jeju Challenger waiting for the champion.

Phenom-Basilan ended the first four legs tied in third place with Fyr Fyter Bacolod with 280 points.

Basilan takes on the winner of the First Eight game between the Mindoro Tamaraws 7A and J&J Muntinlupa in the quarterfinals.
