Will this be the Chot Reyes’ final pool for the first half of the 2023 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers Quezon City window?
In a photo posted by Gilas assistant coach Marc Pingris and, later on, a video tweeted by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, 12 players took part in the team photoshoot held at Novotel Hotel in Quezon City.

Of course in the photo were Gilas draftees William Navarro of Northport, Tzaddy Rangel of NLEX, and Jaydee Tungcab of TNT, along with Angelo Kouame of Ateneo.
Also in the photo are San-En’s Thirdy Ravena, Toyama’s Dwight Ramos, free agent Juan Gomez de Liano, and Overtime Elite’s Lebron Lopez
The PBA pros present were just five.
Northport’s Robert Bolick was there along with TNT’s Poy Erram, Kelly Williams, Kib Montalbo, and Gab Banal.
Surprisingly not in the bubble as of the moment are Jayson Castro, Troy Rosario, and Roger Pogoy.
Also not in the photo op but were in the preliminary pool are Carl Cruz, Matt Ganuelas-Rosser, Ryan Reyes, J-Jay Alejandro, Brian Heruela, and Glenn Khobuntin.
Gilas can still bring in two more players for the final pool as the limit is 15 players. The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, meanwhile, needs to submit its final 12 on Wednesday for the game against South Korea the next day.
Gilas also faces India on the 25th, New Zealand on the 27th, and South Korea again on the 28th at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.
