Kath Arado has found a new home.
Months after Generika-Ayala declared that it would take a “leave of absence”, the decorated libero signed with Petro Gazz.
And Arado is as decorated as they come.
The 22-year-old native of Iligan City, Lanao del Norte – who stands at 5-foot-5 – is the UAAP Season 81 Best Libero, a two-time UAAP Best Digger, a one-time UAAP Best Receiver, and a two-time PSL Best Libero.
This will be Arado’s first time to join a PVL team. She was with Generika since 2017.
The Angels also picked up Ria Meneses from the Lifesavers.
Meneses, 25, is the 2018 PSL All-Filipino Conference 1st Best Middle Blocker.
The 6-foot-1 middle blocker had been with Generika-Ayala since the 2018 PSL Grand Prix. She previously played for Petron in the PSL as well.
Last Tuesday, the Angels unveiled the UE duo of Seth Rodriguez and Mean Mendrez, both of whom have decided to go pro.
