Penaranda leads Cleon and Clyde’s rout of Pampanga for fourth straight WNBL win


Cleon and Clyde captured its fourth straight victory after defeating Pampanga Delta Amazons, 79-56, in the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando, Pampanga.

Snow Penaranda had 24 points and 15 rebounds as the Lady Snipers continued their hot streak going to take first place with a 4-1 win-loss card.

Jollina Go added 19 points, five rebounds, seven assists, and five steals, while Bea Daez had 17 points for the Lady Snipers, who led by as many as 30 points in the game.

JP Gula had 12 points for the Delta Amazons, who are still winless in three matches.

Philippine Navy-Go for Gold, meanwhile, won its second straight game with a victory over Laguna Lady Pistons, 81-73.

Janelle Mendoza had 11 points and seven rebounds, and Bernadette Mercado had 11 points for the Lady Sailors as they upped their record to 2-1.
