With the transaction, Cruz will be reunited with his former Rain or Shine head coach Yeng Guiao in NLEX.
The Road Warriors will also receive San Miguel’s second round pick in the 2020 Rookie Draft from NorthPort, who received the pick during in the Kelly Nabong trade.
TNT, on the other hand, will get Marion Magat from NLEX and Northport’s second round picks in the 2020 and 2021 Rookie Draft.
NorthPort gets Michael Miranda from TNT, Phoenix’s first round pick in the 2019 Rookie Draft, which came from NLEX’s trade for Alex Mallari and Dave Marcelo, and Columbian’s first round pick in the 2020 Draft, which has been bounced around in numerous trades.
