Panda takes charge as RSG PH head coach

Former Laus Playbook Esports coach Brian “Panda” Lim will lead RSG Philippines in its debut season in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Eight, the organization announced on Thursday.

Panda, who steered the Philippines to the 2019 Southeast Asian Games gold medal, played a pivotal role in Playbook’s ascent to the main draw back in Season Seven.

However, the team’s run was cut short after posting a second-worst 3-10 win-loss record to bow out of the playoffs race.

The Korean tactician played for ArkAngel in Season Two before leading the squad to its first title in the following season.

RSG Philippines made a huge move by acquiring popular streamer and influencer Elyson “Wrecker” Caranza.

The Singapore-based squad is reinforced by MPL veterans Kenneth “Kenji” Villa, EJ “Heath” Esperanza, Dexter “Exort” Martinez, Christian “Iy4knu” Manaog, and Arvie “Aqua” Calderon.

Completing the squad are rookies Eman ‘EMANN’ Sangco from Amihan Esports, John Cedrix “Demonkite” Caranto of JNA Esports, and Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo of Work Aerial PH.
