Team Lakay will have another busy month as two of its stalwarts will compete in ONE: Battleground — a three part event that begins on July 30 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Jeremy Pacatiw will make his ONE Championship debut on Battleground I against Rui Chen.
Pacatiw (10-4), 25, last fought back on December of 2019, beating Felipe Efrain during BRAVE CF 33.
Then on August 13, Eduard Folayang will look to snap his skid in the Circle in the main event of Battleground II.
The former ONE Lightweight World Champion (22-11) will take on Zhang Lipeng (30-11-2) in the latter’s debut with the promotion.
Folayang is coming off three straight losses, against Pieter Buist, Tony Caruso, and Shinya Aoki in that order.
Zhang, on the other hand, is one a two-fight winning streak but has last fought back on September of 2019.
Battleground I will have reigning ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Sam-A Gaiyanghadao will defend his World Title against Thai phenom Prajanchai PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym.
In the co-main event, former two-division ONE World Champion Aung La N Sang takes on Leandro Ataides in a pivotal middleweight clash.
Folayang-Zhang’s co-main event will be no. 5-ranked strawweight contender and former ONE Strawweight World Champion Alex Silva taking on Miao Li Tao.
