ONE Full Circle: Pacatiw handed stinging TKO loss by Andrade

Team Lakay’s Jeremy Pacatiw was dealt a stunner by Marrok Force’s Fabricio de Andrade, suffering a quick first round technical knockout loss during ONE: Full Circle, Friday evening at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Facing a kickboxer, Pacatiw, 25, put the pressure on Andrade. Andrade though was able to keep his distance.ONE-Full-Circle-Andrade-def-Pacatiw ONE Full Circle: Pacatiw handed stinging TKO loss by Andrade Mixed Martial Arts News ONE Championship - philippine sports news

A body kick by Andrade connected on Pacatiw a minute and 30 seconds into the bout that set up the finish.

As Pacatiw went for a looping punch to Andrade’s body, the 24-year-old Brazilian was waiting, nailing a powerful knee to the Baguio-native’s chest.

Pacactiw crumbled to the mat, forcing the referee to stop the bout at the 1:37-mark.

Everybody who trains with me knows how dangerous I am,” said Andrade, who raised his record to 7-2, 4-0 in ONE Championship. “Now, from kickboxing, I put my skills in MMA. I’m really dangerous.

“I am the uncrowned king. Everybody knows it. I’ll come back soon,” he continued.

Despite the finish, Andrade tipped his hat to Pacatiw after the bout.

“That guy is a warrior man. Jeremy, you have my respect for taking this fight,” he said about Pacatiw, whose record fell to 11-5.

This is only Pacatiw’s second loss that came from stoppage. The last time was back in Brave CF 9, losing to Jalal Al Daaja via first round TKO.
