ONE: Kevin Belingon stopped by Kim Jae Woong as skid continues


A victory continues to elude former ONE Bantamweight World Champion Kevin Belingon.

Belingon was stopped by rising Korean athlete Kim Jae Woong during ONE on Prime Video 4 on Saturday, losing via a first round TKO at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Belingon was caught with a powerful left hook with just under four minutes left in the opening round that knocked him off his foot.

Sensing blood, Kim pounced on a prone Belingon that forced referee Mohamad Sulaiman to stop the bout with 2:33 remaining.

Tough has been the past four years for Belingon, who has yet to win since defeating Bibiano Fernandes via a split decision win on November 2018.

Belingon fell to a 20-10 record.

Meanwhile, Kim rose to 13-7, breaking his two-fight skid.
