OHEB, Wise, OhMyV33nus turn back RRQ, lift Blacklist to MPLI finals


Blacklist International punched its ticket to the ONE Esports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Invitational grand finals after taking down RRQ Hoshi, 2-1, in the semifinals, Sunday afternoon.

With Edward “Edward” Dapadapa (Esmeralda) and Salic “Hadji” Imam (Chou) down in the final moments of the all-important Game Three, the three-man wrecking crew of Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario (Bane), Kiel “OHEB” Soriano (Clint), and Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna (Rafaela) pulled off the game-winning play against four RRQ Hoshi members.

The troika sneaked into the Lord pit and went on to take the Luminous Lord. Then, after securing the objective, they took out the last four members to complete a five-man wipe en route to the finals berth.

OHEB tallied nine kills and four assists across his name while Wise had six kills, three deaths, and six assists in the Game Three win.

Blacklist International had a field day in the opener, dominating RRQ Hoshi in the early game which powered the team’s 14-4 victory in 17 minutes and 45 seconds.

Leading the stomp was Edward’s Paquito with three kills and nine assists without a single death in the Game One win.

RRQ came alive in Game Two, putting up a dominant performance of its own to even the scales after a 14-2 whipping of Blacklist International in just 13 minutes and 12 seconds.

Alberttt led RRQ with three kills and 10 assists without a single death on Yi Sun-Shin in the second match.

Blacklist International will take on the winner of the ONIC Esports-Alter Ego match later at 6:25 PM.
