Nexplay Evos announces shock exit of Yawi

End of an era.

After leading the team to its first MPL appearance in Season Six, Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera will be leaving Nexplay Esports.

The organization announced the development on Tuesday.

This also means that Yawi, who played a pivotal role in bringing the organization to the MPL, will part ways with three of his closest friends in John Paul “H2wo” Salonga and Renejay “RENEJAY” Baracarse.

Nexplay Esports nabbed its best finish in three seasons after finishing fourth in MPL Season Eight.

They ended up at third in the regular season with a 7-7 win-loss record.
