The Philippine flag will be the most represented come the ONE Esports Singapore Major as a total of 10 Filipino players — the most in the tournament — are set to compete in the first-ever major event of the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit season.

Multi-national esports organization Fnatic, who received a direct playoff invite after topping the Southeast Asia upper-division, has the duo of carry Polo “Raven” Fausto and support Djardel “Dj” Mampusti.

Another SEA qualifier in Neon Esports, who will be proceeding to the group stage, will parade an all-Filipino roster composed of carry John Anthony “Natsumi-” Vargas, midlaner Erin Jasper “Yopaj” Ferrer, supports Prieme Ejay “PlayHard” Banquil, Jaunuel “Jaunuel” Arcilla, and offlaner Gabriel “skem” Ong.

Filipino carry Abed “Abed” Yusop, who was the first player in the world to reach 11,000 solo MMR, will be leading global powerhouse Evil Geniuses while South Korean squad T1 has local Dota icons Carlo “Kuku” Palad and Karl “Karl” Jayme.

Evil Geniuses, who placed first in the North America upper-division, has qualified to the playoffs while T1, who dropped its tiebreaker against Neon Esports in the SEA region, will fight for dear life in the wildcard phase.

Unfortunately, Filipino powerhouse TNC Predator – the last SEA team to win a DPC major – will miss the tournament after placing fourth in SEA behind T1. The team has The International veterans Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte, Armel “Armel” Tabios, and Timothy “Tims” Randrup.
