Natsumi-, cml, Mac, Nikko reunite in Polaris Esports

John Anthony “Natsumi-“ Vargas headed the Adroit Esports reunion in Polaris Esports, the organization revealed on Tuesday night.

Natsumi- will be playing alongside former teammates Bryle “cml” Alizo, Mc Nicholson “Mac” Villanueva, and Nikko “Nikko” Bilacura in the newly-formed Cebuano squad.

“It’s no secret but here we go. Welcome to Polaris Esports, cml, Mac, Nikko and Natsumi! The FOUR-mer teammates are now reunited once again and ready to compete,” said the organization in a Facebook post.

The trio of Natsumi-, Mac, and cml won the Philippines’ historical gold medal in 2019 before Adroit Esports folded in November 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Natsumi- already left the squad for Zerothreetwo Dota prior to the disbandment. Meanwhile, Mac and cml were picked up by Omega Esports while Nikko went to Execration.

All four played in the previous Dota Pro Circuit season.

Polaris Esports got its first taste of action in the BTS Pro Series Season Eight yesterday, losing to Motivate.Trust Gaming via a 2-0 sweep. Their former teammate and good friend Marvin “Boomy” Rushton played as stand-in.
