TV5 has expanded the reach of Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) games by announcing a partnership with CNN Philippines.
As of January 6, PBA games will now be broadcasted on both A2Z and CNN Philippines every weekend.
PBA games found a home on A2Z under a content agreement.
Despite the addition of CNN Philippines to the broadcasting lineup, the games will continue to air on A2Z in real-time, ensuring fans don’t miss any of the live action.
Additionally, One Sports will continue to showcase the games on a delayed basis, offering fans multiple avenues to catch the games.
Guido R. Zaballero, the President and CEO of TV5, expressed that this strategic move aligns with the vision of TV5’s Chairman, Manny V. Pangilinan.
Zaballero emphasized the commitment to delivering high-quality content to a wider audience, stating, “This drives our commitment to constantly deliver the best content that Filipinos love to as many homes as possible.”
CNN PH is owned by Nine Media Corporation, a company the San Miguel Corporation invests in through advertisements.
