NLEX made significant moves over the past few days.
The Road Warriors earlier promoted Ronald Dulatre as Team Governor, replacing Rod Franco after the latter’s retirement from the company.
Franco remains the company’s consultant.
With a remarkable 23-year tenure at NLEX, Dulatre’s wealth of experience and dedication to the team positions him as an invaluable leader for the Road Warriors.
Dulatre has played a pivotal role in the Road Warriors’ evolution, from their early days in the PBA D-League to their current standing in the Philippine Basketball Association.
In addition to his role as the Governor of the NLEX Road Warriors, Dulatre also serves as the Head of Treasury, Risk, and Insurance Management for NLEX.
Meanwhile, the team also signed Enoch Valdez and Jhan Nermal to two-year deals.
Valdez and Nermal were selected with the 18th and 21st overall picks in the PBA Season 48 Rookie Draft, respectively.
Valdez, a 6-foot-3 winger out of Mangatarem, Pangasinan, spent the last five years with Lyceum.
In his final year, he averaged 15.11 points, 7.84 rebounds, 2.26 points, and 1.79 steals per game.
Meanwhile, Nermal, a 6-foot-3 forward from Bacolod, played for numerous MPBL teams and San Miguel 3×3 last season.
Last season, he played for Bacoor, averaging 12.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game, earning the MPBL Fifth Season Most Improved Player award.
“We are thrilled to welcome Enoch Valdez and Jhan Nermal to the NLEX Road Warriors family. Both players have showcased exceptional talent, and we believe they will be instrumental in our pursuit of success,” said NLEX Road Warriors Team Governor Ronald Dulatre.
