MPL PH: ‘Rai-tusok’ spearheads Onic’s sweeps of TNC for second-straight win

Onic Philippines appears to have found their rhythm, with Dean “Raizen” Dumagui leading the way as they secured their second consecutive sweep, this time against TNC Pro Team, in Week 3 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 12 at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City on Friday.

After starting the season with back-to-back 2-1 losses, Onic has finally demonstrated their strength by sweeping the last two matches, improving to fifth place in the standings with eight points on a 2-3 win-loss record.

In Game 1, Raizen (Martis) shut down TNC early in the game, helping Onic establish a 5-0 kill lead late in the 9th minute while tallying a 1-0-3 KDA.

Czedrick “Yoshinu” Romero (Chou) then closed out the series by leading a 14th-minute skirmish, securing a double kill in a 3-1 exchange that provided them with the opportunity to execute a game-winning base turret siege, making it 1-0.

Raizen (Lancelot) and Frince “Super Frince” Ramirez (Lylia) then delivered in Game 2, finishing with KDAs of 3-0-4 and 2-0-5, respectively, to complete the sweep.

It was TNC’s fourth loss in five matches, leaving them in eighth place with three points.

The Hedgehogs will aim for their third win against Minana Evos, while TNC will try to break their slump against Blacklist on September 23.
