MPL-Philippines has decided to postpone its week three matches due to the extension of the enhanced community quarantine, the league announced on Wednesday evening.
“Due to the extension of the Enhanced Community Quarantine, the Mobile Legends Professional League – Philippines has decided to postpone this week’s matches.
“The safety and health of all players, coaches, talents, staff, and their families are our utmost priority. We are committed to following all guidelines and protocols to keep everyone safe,” the league said in a statement.
Work Auster Force was set to open the week against ONIC PH followed by the Execration-Nexplay Esports tilt this coming Friday.
Meanwhile, the Cignal-Aura PH, Omega-Blacklist International, and Work Auster Force-BREN Esports, was slated on Saturday. The week was supposed to end with Cignal-Laus Playbook Esports, BREN Esports-Blacklist International, and ONIC PH-Execration matches.
Currently leading the pack is Blacklist International who currently has a perfect 3-0 record in Group B with eight points. On the other hand, ONIC PH is currently at the number one spot in Group A with a 2-0 card for five points.
Defending champion BREN Esports, who dropped its first three games, has a 1-3 card – good for third in Group A with four points.
The MPL-Philippines Season Seven Week Three will resume on April 15, Thursday, up until April 18, Sunday.
