MPL PH: Emann sets tone as RSG zaps TNC to close in on top seed

RSG PH closed in on the top spot after sweeping TNC, 2-0, in the MPL Philippines Season Nine on Friday night.

The team upped its standing to 9-3 with 24 points — a point behind the league-leading ECHO.

Emman “Emann” Sangco’s Beatrix starred in Game One, finishing with four kills and an assist without a single death while Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo’s Thamuz led the Game Two win with a 1-2-7 KDA line.

TNC kept the third spot despite the loss with a 7-4 card with 21 points.

RSG PH will take on the top-ranked ECHO on Saturday at 6:00 PM. Meanwhile, TNC will aim to bounce back against ONIC PH on Sunday, also at 6:00 PM.
