MPL PH: Echo still spotless, takes down Minana for win No. 6

Echo was made to sweat by Minana Evos before pulling off a 2-1 reverse sweep in Week 3 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 12 at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City on Friday.

This marked Echo’s sixth straight win, allowing them to maintain their lead in the standings with 15 points and a flawless 6-0 win-loss record.

In Game 1, Minana dominated Echo, achieving a 9-2 kill score during a 12-minute victory. Jan “DomengAR” Delmundo (Brody) led the way with a perfect 4-0-4 KDA.

However, the defending champions quickly regained their momentum in Game 2, turning the tables with a massive 12-3 kill tally, forcing a decisive third game.

Frederic “Bennyqt” Gonzales (Beatrix) and Sanford “Sanford” Vinura (YuZhong) then went on a rampage in Game 3, finishing with spotless KDAs while delivering a combined 10 kills and 11 assists to keep Echo undefeated.

Minana has now lost five out of their six matches this season but remains in fifth place in the standings with five points.
