MPL PH: Echo secures fourth straight win at the expense of TNC

Echo sustained their lethal form as they once again dominated with a 2-0 sweep, marking their fourth consecutive victory in Week 2 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 12 at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City.

The reigning M4 world champions remained undefeated in the season, with three sweeps in four matches, securing their top spot with 11 points.

Echo head coach Archie “Tictac” Reyes tip his hat for TNC who fought hard in a tight Game 2 encounter.

“Almost nakuha nila yung Game 2 eh. Sadyang nagkaroon kami ng break. Nabaliktad namin yung laro,” he said.

In Game 1, Echo once again picked Angela, providing the necessary sustain and allowing Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno to secure a 6th-minute triple kill, resulting in a 5-1 wipeout.

The defending champions were never threatened from there, as KarlTzy went on a rampage, finishing with an impressive 8-1-5 KDA.

Game 2, however, presented a different story as TNC fought Echo on equal footing, establishing a significant lead.

It wasn’t until the 17th minute that KarlTzy (Martis) and Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales (Karrie) each scored a double kill during the Lord dance, resulting in a 4-1 exchange.

Bennyqt completed the closeout win with a 6-2-6 KDA.

TNC’s win-loss record dropped to 1-2, earning them three points.
