MPL PH: Debuting Pandora gifts AP.Bren skid-breaking sweep of TNC

AP.Bren finally found a breakthrough as they halted a three-game losing streak with a 2-0 sweep of TNC Pro Team in Week 4 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 12 at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City on Friday.

The reigning IESF world champions catapulted into the second spot with 15 points, tying with Onic Philippines (5-3).

It was Vincent “Pandora” Unigo’s debut game this season after taking a backseat behind David “FlapTzy” Canon in the exp lane since Season 11.

Game 1 went down to the wire as both teams exchanged leads and control throughout the match until Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano (Bruno) scored two kills during a 24th-minute skirmish to fuel a 3-1 trade-off.

AP.Bren then forced a successful base turret siege less than a minute later to take the opening win, 1-0.

Game 2 followed a similar narrative as neither team was able to establish clear control of the match until Kyle “KyleTzy” Sayson (Akai) secured the 21st-minute lord, putting pressure on TNC.

Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo (Edith) then outplayed King Cyric “K1NGKONG” Perez (Martis) during a 1-on-1 showdown at the base turret, securing a pickoff and sparking AP.Bren’s game-winning push moments later.

TNC suffered their sixth straight loss, remaining at the bottom with only four points to their name.
