MPL PH: Blacklist bounces back, sends NXPE to third-straight loss

Blacklist International recovered from back-to-back losses with a dominant 2-0 win over Nexplay Evos in Week 4 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 11 on Sunday.

Explaner Edward “Edward” Dapadap stole the show in the series with a masterful performance with the Arlott pick to help Blacklist improve to 4-3 (11pts) and force a tie for 3rd with RSG Slate Philippines.

The win was a welcome development for head coach Aniel “MasterTheBasics” Jiandani as the team slowly takes form.

“Mas maganda yung naging performance nila kasi mas nailalabas na nila yung laro nila. Yun kasi ang prority namin, mailabas nila laro nila. Kung ano yung pinapraktis namin, magawa lang dito sa MPL,” he said.

The Codebreakers opted to secure their signature Estes pick that helped them set the tone for the match from the early game.

It was Edward (Arlott) though who delivered the crucial play when he hooked two enemy heroes with the Final Slash in the 12th minute that sparked a 2-0 pick-off.

Blacklist wasted no time to finish off the Minana-backed squad in the ensuing play to secure the opener, 1-0, with Edward taking the MVP honors with a 2-1-4 KDA.

In Game 2, Edward’s Arlott once again served as the team’s catalyst with his pinpoint aggressions on the way to taking

He highlighted his exploits with another two-man Final Slash set-up that led to the winning wipe-out play.
