Master the Basics eyes challenge ahead of massive MLBB game changes

With Moonton set to introduce massive changes to the game starting in the second half of the season, Aurora head coach Aniel “Master the Basics” Jiandani is bracing for a challenging stretch ahead.

Currently the hottest team in the league with a six-game winning streak, Coach MTB sees their 6-1 record as leverage as they gradually adapt to the new gameplay.

Mas maifo-focus lang namin yung attention namin sa new udpate,” shared MTB in an exclusive interview.

With new maps to be introduced and randomly picked per game, the league will venture into uncharted territory for both players and coaches.

MTB noted two main challenges they must address as the changes take effect starting Week 4.

So mastery dun sa maps,” he explained.

“Then siguro number two adjustments sa kung ano man yung mga heroes na mababago. Another yan. Then syempre yung maps ico-connect din natin sa drafts so adjustment para sa coaches. Pinakahuli siguro maraming lalabas kasing cheese strats based sa kung anong mapa yung lalaruin.”

Aurora’s adaptability will be put to the test immediately in a rematch against their only team to have beaten them this season, Team Falcons PH, on Friday, September 19.
