Markyyyyy secures release from ONIC PH


ONIC PH announced the departure of Marky “Markyyyyy” Capacio, Monday night.

The 23-year-old gold laner joined the organization in Season Seven and served as the team’s reserve.

When the team let go of Christian “Iy4knu” Manaog, Markyyyyy took over the starting gold lane spot. He helped the team reach the grand finals of the MPL Philippines Season Eight and the M3 World Championships where they lost to Blacklist International both times.

The former WoRk standout capped off Season Nine with averages of 2.42 kills, 2.33 deaths, and 4.65 assists for a KDA of 3.03. He also had a total of 116 kills, 112 deaths, and 223 assists.

ONIC PH finished the season in fourth place after losing to Omega Esports in the lower bracket semifinals.
