Sen. Manny Pacquiao will return to the ring.
After 25 months of boxing inactivity, the world’s only eight-division boxing world champion will step on the ring again as he is set to face IBF and WBC welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. on Saturday, August 21 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This will be Pacquiao’s first bout since his split decision win over Keith Thurman to claim the WBA super welterweight title.
The 42-year-old Pacquiao though had to relinquish the belt last year due to “inactivity.”
Pacquiao is 62-7-2 with 39 KOs in his career that began in 1995.
Spence, 31, though is one of the top welterweight in the world.
The New Yorker is coming off a dominant decision win over Danny Garcia last December.
One of the rumored venues for the match is the Allegiant Stadium which has a 65,000 capacity.
