Mac Belo has finally come to terms with Rain or Shine.
The 30-year-old forward has signed a one-year deal with the Elasto Painters, the club announced through their social media channels Wednesday.
Belo was accompanied by long-time agent Edgar Mangahas in the contract signing that was also graced by RoS head coach Yeng Guiao, lead assistant Caloy Garcia, and team manager Jireh Ibanes.
The former Far Eastern University was acquired via trade from Meralco last May 18, marking the end of a forgettable stint with the Bolts.
He played for only a total of 42 games in the five conferences he was with the MVP-owned team, who got his services in a trade with Blackwater back in 2021. He sat out the previous Governors’ Cup as he took a leave of absence.
Belo didn’t have a live contract when his rights were traded in exchange for Norbert Torres as his old pact expired just last April.
Now that he has signed a fresh one, the former Gilas draftee is expected to be present in RoS’ PBA On Tour game versus Phoenix this Friday.
