Kim Fajrdo’s preparations for her final year have gotten off to a bad start
True to her resilient form, Kim Fajardo isn’t worried about a recent injury she incurred in practice.
The two-time UAAP Best Setter tore her right plantar fascia. But instead of worrying about losing progress, Fajardo assured reporters that she’s fine and that there’s nothing to worry about.
“Wala naman ‘to [injury]. Okay ako,” the 23-year-old assured.
The team captain isn’t likely to miss any matches, but will rest a few days before returning to practice.
Fajardo is gunning for her third UAAP gold in indoor volleyball competition, while De La Salle University are eyeing back-to-back tiaras.
The Lady Spikers open their title-retention bid on February 5 against the Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws.
