Kim Fajardo recorded a career-high of 11 points, fueling F2 Logistics’ bronze finish in the 2023 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference.
The Cargo Movers overcame a rough first set to take down PLDT 23-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-15 in Game Two at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesday, securing their highest finish in the PVL since joining in 2019.
“Syempre, ako masaya ako hindi dahil sa 11 points pero dahil nga first time namin mag-podium finish.
Pero malapit na,” said the six-time PSL Best Setter.
Fajardo finished with 11 points on five attacks, four blocks, and two aces, along with 24 excellent sets for F2 Logistics.
The La Salle product said that her performance against the High-Speed Hitters is special because it reminded her that she still has what it takes to play at the highest level, despite struggling with numerous injuries over the past years.
Even though they fell short of making it into the final round, Fajardo vowed that the Cargo Movers would bounce back strongly next conference.
“Yun yung mindset namin, yung motivation namin, lahat ng paghuhugutan namin ng inspirasyon for the next conference.”
