RJ Abarrientos delivered in the clutch, carrying Ulsan Hyundai Mobis to a 77-73 win over Justin Gutang and Changwon LG in the 2022-23 KBL Season, Sunday at Changwon Gymnasium.
Abarrientos, who only played 19 minutes in the game as he played a whopping 36 minutes against Anyang KGC last December 31, delivered on two key free throws with 30 seconds remaining to seal the win.
Abarrientos had six points, four rebounds, and three assists as the Phoebus went up to 16-11 — second in the league.
Seo Myeongjin led the way with 18 points while Gaige Prim and Jang Jaesok got 16 apiece with the former also grabbing 13 boards.
The Sakers, who are are at third with a 15-11 slate, were led by Assem Marei, who got 17 points and 15 rebounds.
Lee Gwanhee and Kim Junil added 14 and 13 points, respectively. Gutang played 23 minutes for seven assists and two points.
