Abarrientos got 12 points, making a living in the foul stripe as he shot 7-of-9 from there. The Far Eastern University product also got three rebounds and a steal, helping the Phoebus go up to 15-9 in the standings for solo second.

Meanwhile, over at Suwon KT Arena, Ethan Alvano and the Promy fell to the home team, 64-77.

Alvano’s 14 points and four assists were not enough to stave off the Sonicboom.

Three players scored 17 points for KT with Lester Prosper also grabbing five rebounds. Jarrod Jones got eight boards while Ha Yoongi grabbed 14 boards.

KT, who is awaiting the arrival of Dave Ildefonso, went up to 9-15.
