KBL: Abando, Anyang KGC take 2-1 lead over Seoul SK

Rhenz Abando continued to roll in the 2023 KBL Finals, helping Anyang KGC take an 81-70 Game 3 win over Seoul SK on Saturday at Jamsil Student Gymnasium.

KGC dropped Game 1, 69-77, before bouncing back in Game 2 with an 81-67 triumph.

Abando followed up his stellar Game 2 outing with a 14-point, seven-rebound, and two-block outing this game.

Oh Sekeun led the way for Anyang with 23 points on 11-of-17 shooting from the field while naturalized Lebanese player Omari Spellman got 16 points and seven rebounds.

Park Jihoon and Daryl Monroe chipped in 12 points apiece in the victory.

Game 4 will still be at the same Seoul venue on Monday.

Choi Bukyung led the way for the Knights with 23 points.

Jameel Warney was once again stifled by the stingy Anyang defense, going just 5-of-20 from the field for 10 points.
