KBL: Abando, Anyang KGC continue mastery over Alvano, Wonju DB

Rhenz Abando and Anyang KGC stretched their winning streak their four, blasting Ethan Alvano and Wonju DB, 86-70, in the 2022-23 KBL Season, Monday at Wonju Sports Complex.

This is Anyang’s third win for the season over Wonju, beating the same squad last November 18 (80-78) and December 29 (92-74).

Abando, who is still nursing an injured ankle, played 15 minutes in the rout, tallying four points, two assists, a rebound, and a block.

Byeon Junhyeong led KGC with 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field.

Oh Sekeun added 16 points and seven boards while Omari Spellman chipped in 11 points and 14 boards, helping Anyang raise its record to 20-8 to remain on top of the table.

Alvano got 15 points, eight assists, six rebounds, and three steals but it was not enough to lift Promy, who fell to 11-17 — ninth in the league.

Kim Hyunho and Kim Jongyu added 15 and 14 points, respectively, for Wonju DB.
