KBL: Abando, Anyang advance to third straight finals

For the third straight season, Anyang KGC will advance to the finals of the Korean Basketball League.

KGC blasted Goyang, 89-61, in Game 4 of the semifinals to set up a rematch with Seoul SK, Wednesday at Goyang Gymnasium.

The finals will begin on April 29.

Anyang took Game One 99-43 but shockingly lost in Game 2, 89-75. KGC bounced back in Game 3 with a 76-72 victory.

Now, they face the Knights who defeated them last year and are coming off a sweep of Justin Gutang and Changwon LG.

Rhenz Abando only played 10 minutes in the contest and had four rebounds and a block.

Moon Seonggon caught fire for Anyang, finishing with 22 points on four triples and eight free throws.
