KarlTzy records first savage, powers BREN Esports to MPL-PH showdown with ONIC

In front of 752,538 viewers online, KarlTzy recorded the first savage of his career as he propelled BREN Esports’ 3-0 thrashing of NXP Solid to advance to the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Six semifinals, Friday evening.

The 16-year-old prodigy was godly with his Lancelot in Game One, recording a clean 9-0-7 KDA laced with a savage in the end game that included a jaw-dropping one-on-three outplay against MB (Alice), Renejay (Chou), and H2wo (Ling).

“For sure. I also heard some regions saying Karl is one of the best players right now,” said Bren head coach Francis “Duckey” Glindro in an interview with Tiebreaker Times. He also asserted that KarlTzy is indeed one of the best MLBB players in the world right now.

This is the second savage of the season. Pheww secured the first one in the regular season with his Eudora against Cignal Ultra.

But it was not only KarlTzy who did the damage for NXP. MPL veteran Ribo, one of the few players who have played in all six seasons of the league, nabbed the MVP honors in Games Two and Three.

Ribo tallied the second win for Barats in the season, putting up five kills, zero deaths, and four assists in another dominant performance for BREN in Game Two.

And when it looked like that BREN was about to go down in Game Three, the season one champion supplied the much-needed damage to aid his team. Ribo, despite only tallying two kills in Game Three, had 12 assists with his X.borg to help KarlTzy (Leomord) shoulder the heavy lifting for BREN in the damage department.

KarlTzy had six kills, four deaths, and seven assists in Game Three while Pheww finished with eight kills, four deaths, and five assists with his Selena.

On the other hand, Renejay had four kills, three deaths, and three assists with his Esmeralda. H2wo was held to just three kills, four deaths, and six assists using Lancelot.

BREN Esports will be squaring up with the same team that eliminated them last season in ONIC PH, who just came off a defining win over arch-rival Aura PH in the semifinals tomorrow at 4:00 P.M.
