KarlTzy out to prove that he’s still the best jungler in world come M4

Aside from winning the entire thing, ECHO’s Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno has set a personal goal for this upcoming M4 World Championship – to prove that he is still the best jungler in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang competitive scene.

KarlTzy cemented his status as one of the finest junglers in the land after leading Bren Esports to the M2 World Championships. There, he put up one of the greatest performances that the community has ever seen after also taking home the Group Stage and Finals MVP awards.

However, the following seasons have been tough on the now-18-year-old ML:BB superstar.

Immediately after their historic campaign in the world series, Bren Esports plummeted down the MPL Philippines standings before eventually missing the playoffs in Season Eight. He eventually bolted for ECHO in Season Nine where they suffered a first-round exit.

Now, fresh from an impressive campaign that saw them reach the grand finals of Season 10, KarlTzy said that he is dead set on reclaiming the throne that he once held.

“Yun po, gusto kong patunayan na ano, ako pa rin yung magaling kahit sobrang daming ng ano… nakakasabay,” said KarlTzy during the M4 World Championships send-off press conference.

“Pinahabol ko lang talaga sila,” he added in jest.

Turning serious, KarlTzy said that he was just glad to finally be back on the world stage.

“Masaya po tapos nakaka-excited kasi naka-balik na po,” he said.

ECHO is pooled in Group C where they will face their former head coach Michael “Arcadia” Bocado, who currently coaches RRQ Hoshi. Completing the group are RSG Singapore and Occupy Throne of Egypt.
