Joshua Torralba does not renew with Blackwater, signs with Sono


Another player has left the Philippine Basketball Association to play overseas.

Joshua Torralba did not renew with Blackwater, instead signing with Korean Basketball League club Sono.

The team made the announcement on Monday.

Torralba was the 15th overall pick in the 2021 PBA Rookie Draft.

The 6-foot-2 combo guard played a total of 29 games for Blackwater.

Last conference, he averaged 3.1 points and 1.2 rebounds per game.

Torralba even played two games for the Bossing in the ongoing PBA on Tour, last suiting up for the team last July 14.

He joins the Sono Skygunners.

The Skygunners replaced the Goyang Carrot Jumpers.
