Jericho Cruz has been named to the 16-man pool of Guam for the final window of the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers.
Cruz is already in the country and is finishing his hotel quarantine. He played in Guam’s 94-113 loss to New Zealand to open their campaign back in February of 2020.
The 6-foot-3 swingman, who plays for NLEX, had five assists, four points, four rebounds, and a steal in the contest.
Also returning for the call of duty are Joe Blas, Jonathan Galloway, Daren Hechanova, Earnest Ross, Curtis Washington, Mekeli Wesley, Tai Wesley, and former Adamson Falcon Will Stinnett.
Called up as well were Fil-Guamanians Chris Conner and Ben Borja, along with Tomas Calvo, Matt Fegurgur, Mark Johnson, Mike Quan, and Takumi Simon.
However, Guam and Hong Kong will no longer play in Clark. They will instead head to Amman Jordan, according to Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas technical director Butch Antonio.
Guam and Hong Kong will play both of their Group C games on June 13 and 15 at Prince Gamza Hall.
Australia and New Zealand have already pulled out of the competition.
