BRAVE CF had just lost another Team Lakay fighter.
Jeremy Pacatiw has decided to join Stephen Loman in MMA free agency after not renewing with BRAVE CF.
The 24-year-old product of University of the Cordilleras confirmed the development in a statement.
“I feel sad because Brave CF was the first international fighting stage where I showcased my skills for the past four years. Brave gave me the ticket to travel around the world from Asia to the Middle East to Africa,” revealed Loman.
“Still, I’m grateful because I know and believe that some doors close for another much greater opportunities to open.”
Last January, bantamweight Loman, the longest reigning BRAVE CF world champion, decided to relinquish his belt to become a free agent.
A month later, Pacatiw did the same.
Pacatiw made his BRAVE debut back in December of 2016, losing to Hamza Kooheji.
After going 2-2 in his next four bouts, Pacatiw was able to rack up three straight wins against Keith Lee, Uloomi Karim, and Mark Alcoba. Though his streak was snapped by Ali AlQaisi last November of 2019, he was able to get a win back against Felipe Efrain a month later.
Pacatiw, currently 10-4 in his prizefighting career, looks to join the rest of Team Lakay in ONE Championship.
“I know the best is yet to come in my life particularly in my chosen career. If God permits, I dream to join and be a part of ONE Championship family. I really want to join my brothers there even if I’ll start from baby steps at the bantamweight division.”
