UAAP celebrates school pride with Varsity Co

The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) is thrilled to announce Varsity Lifestyle Co. as its official clothing line, igniting a partnership aimed at bringing a fresh wave of school spirit and pride to the UAAP community.

UAAP Season 86 President and University of the East Athletics Director Rodrigo Roque said, “Having Varsity Lifestyle as the official UAAP merchandise provider is a significant milestone, especially for schools like ours. It not only embodies our commitment to excellence in sports but also reflects our dedication to providing our students, alumni, and fans with top-quality merchandise that celebrates the spirit and pride of the UAAP. With Varsity Lifestyle on board, we look forward to a season filled with vibrant team spirit and stylish fan gear.”

UAAP Executive Director Atty. Rene “Rebo” Saguisag sees this collaboration as an exciting opportunity for the students and alumni of all eight esteemed member schools, namely the University of the East, Adamson University, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, Far Eastern University, National University, the University of the Philippines, and the University of Santo Tomas, solidifying the entire UAAP community as one family with a common goal.

Through Varsity Lifestyle’s dynamic and stylish apparel, they now have the means to express their unwavering support for their respective schools in a more fashionable and spirited manner.UAAP86-OFFICIAL-MERCH-5182 UAAP celebrates school pride with Varsity Co ADMU AdU DLSU FEU News NU UAAP UE UP UST - philippine sports news

Varsity Lifestyle Co. aligns perfectly with our vision of fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie within the UAAP community.

“It’s an opportunity for all of us to wear our hearts on our sleeves, showcasing our devotion to our beloved institutions through their high-quality apparel while also realizing that the sum is greater than the sum of its parts.”

Kirk Damasco, the co-founder of Varsity Lifestyle Co. and the visionary behind Ateneo de Manila University’s iconic clothing line, GetBlued, expressed his elation about this partnership, saying, “Over the years of managing GetBlued, we’ve come to appreciate the league and its other member schools as a whole. Everyone contributes to enhancing the league.

“As you may know, especially in recent years, the UAAP has evolved into a league like no other. The fans and the schools have become incredibly passionate, and it’s a privilege to serve the schools and the community that collectively comprise the league we all cherish.”

Varsity Lifestyle’s initial line will include shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies, lanyards, baller bands, and sticker sets.
