Jaypee displays new facet, leads Aura past rivals ONIC in MPL PH


Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz’s impressive performance as support powered Aura PH’s 2-0 sweep of archrival ONIC PH in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Seven regular season, Friday evening.

Aura PH took the second spot in Group A with a 3-1 standing and eight points while ONIC, will fall to the third spot in the same group with five points through a 2-2 standing.

Jaypee, who played the core position for the entirety of his career, brought out another facet in his game as he spearheaded Aura PH’s 15-36 win via the Diggie feeding strategy.

On the other hand, ONIC PH core Jaylord “Hate” Gonzales, despite finishing with 19 kills and eight assists against just three deaths, was a non-factor in Game One as Jaypee was able to lock him down all throughout the match.

Jaypee once again made his presence felt in Game Two as he went Godlike despite playing Angela in Aura PH’s 20-15 win to seal the sweep.
