Jack Animam did not suit up when Radnički faced Radivoj Korać in the 2021-22 First Women’s Basketball League of Serbia tournament, early Monday morning (Manila time) at SBB Hala Jezero.
In fact, the 6-foot-3 Filipina was not even on the team’s bench.
This is the second game the National University product has missed for Radnički as she was also not fielded during their game against Partizan 1953 last November 28.
So what happened to Animam?
Before their game against Partizan, the livestream of the game showed that Animam was being stretched by the team’s staff as it seemed that her left knee was bothering her.
Then during the pregame pleasantries, Animam can be seen on the bench with her head down.
According to multiple sources closely monitoring the situation, Animam suffered an undisclosed injury during the warm-ups of that game.
Tiebreaker Times has reached out to her management team East West Private, asking for an update on the status of their client but has yet to receive a response since last Wednesday.
Animam, who just turned 23, was averaging 20.0 points and 14.3 rebounds.
Of course, the whole country is hoping that if ever Animam is injured, it’s nothing serious.
