Hate, ONIC PH bounce back, romp Todak in M3

Jaylord “Hatred” Gonzales starred as ONIC Philippines picked up its first win in the M3 World Championship after taking down Todak on Tuesday at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Hatred finished with nine kills, three deaths, and an assist on his Beatrix to lead the 12-10 win in 16 minutes and 23 seconds.

The Filipinos, who were coming off a heartbreaking loss to ONIC Esports earlier in the day, moved to 1-1 in Group B.

A Luminous Lord take in the 14:19-mark of the match powered the ONIC PH win.

Both squads figured in a crucial clash during the ONIC PH siege on the top lane.

While Todak captured crucial kills throughout the clash, Hatred’s well-fed Beatrix, together with Gerald “Dlar” Trinchera’s Esmeralda, rallied ONIC PH to win the fight.

Allen “Baloyskie” Baloy, who was named match MVP, finished with a game-high 11 assists along with a death.

Todak suffered its first loss in the same group, falling to 1-1.

Cikugais led the Malaysians with five kills, two deaths, and two assists.

ONIC Philippines looks to secure its slot in the upper bracket against Vivo Keyd later at 7:00 PM.
