Converge has added one of its brightest deputies to its coaching staff in a bid to bolster its campaign in the 2026 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
Glenn Capacio has joined the coaching staff of the FiberXers to assist head coach Delta Pineda.
Capacio is set to make his return to the PBA sidelines on Wednesday, when the FiberXers face the Titan Ultra Giant Risers at the Ynares Center-Antipolo.
This marks Capacio’s return to the PBA after 16 years.
An eight-time member of the PBA All-Defensive Team, Capacio previously served as head coach of GlobalPort from 2012 to 2014 and as an assistant coach for Kia from 2014 to 2015.
He later worked as an assistant coach for collegiate programs Lyceum, Letran, La Salle, and JRU.
He is currently part of the coaching staff of National University in the UAAP and Ilagan Isabela in the MPBL.
In a separate move, Converge has also signed Ladis Lepalam and will replace Ronan Santos in its lineup.
