Galeries Tower will inject more youth into its team for the 2024 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference.
The Highrisers tapped 22-year-old Brazilian outside hitter Monique Helena as their import.
Helena arrived in the country on Thursday evening.
This will be the first time Helena plays overseas.
She previously played for numerous Brazilian clubs, beginning her career with Lavras Vôlei in 2017.
Helena then played for Itambé/Minas, Minas Náutico, Bluvolei Furb SME, Vôlei Taubaté, and ABEL Moda Volei.
Galeries also picked up free agents Roselle Baliton and Shannen Palec during the off-season.
The Highrisers are coming off a 10th-place finish in the 2024 All-Filipino Conference, tallying a 3-8 slate.
Galeries will also pick third in the upcoming 2024 PVL Draft.
