Quinley Quezada, Sarina Bolden, Jessica Miclat, Cathrine Graversen, and Eva Madarang of the Philippine women’s national football team will now ply their trade with new teams in Europe and Asia.

Quezada and Bolden recently cleared quarantine in Japan to join their respective clubs ahead of the inaugural season of the professional WE League. The tournament kicks off next week.

Quezada is part of the squad for JEF United Chiba, while Bolden was officially announced last Friday by Chifure AS Elfen Saitama. Quezada, a 24-year old striker from California, previously featured on Legends FC and Future FC in the American WPSL and UPSL.

The 25-year old Bolden – also striker from California – had previous stints with Sandvikens IF in Sweden and the SF Nighthawks in the American WPSL.

Bolden’s Chifure AS Elfen will open their season against Sanfrecce Hiroshima Regina on September 12. Meanwhile, the opener for Quezada’s JEF United Chiba comes against Bolden and her team on September 20.
