EST Cola returns for PVL Invitationals

Thailand’s EST Cola is ready to make a highly anticipated return to the Philippines as part of the 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Invitational Conference.

The 2024 squad representing EST Cola will consist of the U-20 Thailand volleyball team, bringing fresh talent and enthusiasm to the competition.

The Thailand-based club joins the six-team field, which includes four PVL teams alongside defending champion Kurashiki Ablaze of Japan.

EST Cola is now the second foreign team in the tournament.

This marks EST Cola’s second appearance on the Philippine Taraflex, having last competed in the country eight years ago during the 2016 PSL Invitational Cup.

During their previous outing, the Thai powerhouse team showcased their skills by defeating Petron and F2 Logistics in the semifinals.

Although they fell short in the final against the RC Cola-Army – led by Philippine volleyball stars Jovelyn Gonzaga and Rachel Daquis – EST Cola earned the title of co-champions.

Among the notable players from EST Cola’s last visit is Sutadta Chuewulim, who is now an import for Galeries Tower.
